SO LONG - THE REDS
4 mins
Filmed in the UK, "So Long," is a garage rock film noir short by British director, Peter McAdam, and is track 9 on The Reds® album, Early Nothing. The song is a driving rocker, with fuzzed guitar, 1970's style rhythm section (Free) in the bass and drum, 1960's Ray Manzarek organ approach, with a Jagger/Iggy Pop type vocal. Lyrics . . . "you got to cut yourself loose from crazy town." The album has a hypnotic quality leaving the listener free to let the subconscious play itself out, no matter where it goes, maintaining the simplicity of the moment.
